Iconic Spots at the Giant’s Causeway

Uncover the fascinating legends and myths buried in the Giant’s Causeway…

Giant’s Boot:

You can’t visit the Giant’s Causeway without finding one of its most popular spots – The Giant’s Boot.

Legend has it the boot was left behind by Irish giant, Finn McCool, as he darted from Scottish giant, Benandonner after he was challenged to a fight.

Wishing Chair:

Make sure you keep a close eye out for the ‘Wishing Chair’ made of perfectly formed basalt stones!

Many believe any wishes made while sitting on the Wishing Chair will come true. So why not take a seat and see if your wishes will be granted?

The Camel:

Put your eyesight to the test and see if you can spot the camel figure hidden in the rocks.

Rumour has is the camel belonged to Finn McCool and was turned to stone at the bottom of County Antrim’s cliffs.

See famous locations featured in Game of Thrones

You’ll have the chance to roam around the exact spots featured in the hit Game of Thrones TV series!

See if you can pluck up the courage and cross the legendary ‘Carrick-a-Rede’ rope bridge. You’ll be able have a peep at the spot where Renly Baratheon’s war camp was set up and Petyr ‘Littlefinger’ Baelish often hung out.

You’ll also pass through the Dark Hedges, or commonly known as the King’s Road, where Arya escaped from King’s Landing and dressed up as a boy to avoid being captured.

It’s no surprise that the Irish often refer to it as the 8th Wonder of the World!

Take a walk through the ruins of Dunluce Castle

Saunter along the stunning County Antrim coastline and discover the remains of the historic Dunluce Castle – or House of Greyjoy, as Game of Thrones fans will know it.

Be sure you take a stroll along the spectacular beachfront which looks out onto the unspoilt Whitepark Bay and Portbradden – a quaint little fishing village.
