AUSCHWITZ AND BIRKENAU TOUR

Pickup from: Pawia 18b – Kiss&Ride stop, in front of Mercure Hotel. Please be there at least 10 minutes before the departure time. Transfer to Auschwitz museum by an air-conditioned minibus (~1,5 h). Travel with our professional English-speaking drivers to Oświęcim which is located ~70km from Kraków. After approximately 1.5 hours, you will reach the Museum, where our local guide will be waiting for you. Tour of museum grounds Auschwitz I. Enter the museum with an official tour guide, who will share the heartbreaking story in the English language. Auschwitz I was a concentration camp, used by the Nazis to punish and exterminate political and other opponents of their regime. Transfer to Auschwitz II Birkenau museum (10min)
After visiting the Auschwitz memorial camp you will be taken to Birkenau where you will spend 1 hour visiting the vast camp with wooden blocks available for visitors and watchtowers. With the same bus that you arrived with. Don’t forget to buy a snack in a local shop/restaurant as there is no lunch break.

Auschwitz II Birkenau Memorial Tour
Continuation of your tour in Birkenau camp. It’s the place where the greatest murder the world has ever seen took place. Over a million people died here of nazi crimes. Back to Krakow from Birkenau camp (~2h)
You can be dropped off near the place of the pickup or the Main Market Square (city centre). Enjoy Cracow City!

WIELICZKA SALT MINES:
This tour will be booked for your second day in Krakow. Pickup from: Pawia 18b – Kiss&Ride stop, in front of Mercure Hotel. Please be there at least 10 minutes before the departure time. Sometimes the line to get a ticket for the Wieliczka Salt Mine tour can be overwhelming. With us you don’t need to worry, your seat is secured. The official Wieliczka Salt Mine guide will guide you through the tourist route and show you around the Mine in the English language. Entrance fees are already paid so you don’t have to worry about anything. On the way back you can be dropped off near the place of pickup at the City Center of Krakow.

Pick-ups will take place 30min before departure time and guest will need to be ready outside their hotel or designated bus stop. If you take your airport transfers approx. 2 – 3 hours before your flight’s departure time you will arrive at the airport as recommended by the airport authorities.

Please note Auschwitz will be booked on the day after the date chosen for your reservation (i.e. the date on your ticket) – your second day in most cases – subject to availability. Other tours can be accommodated around you and can be flexible however this is also subject to availability. Any changes must be made at least 48 hours prior to travel.

AUSCHWITZ AND BIRKENAU
Booked for your second day in Krakow. Duration – 2,5h Auschwitz Tour + 1,5h Birkenau Tour + 3h Transport (both ways)
Departure times – from 06:30 AM to 12:30 PM. Departure time will be confirmed upon reconfirmation of booking.

WIELICZKA SALT MINES
Booked for your third day in Krakow. Duration – 2,5h Tour + Transportation Both Ways. Departure time will be confirmed upon reconfirmation of booking. Please note the tour begins with climbing down 380 steps and the regular tour does not include the lift. Please, wear comfortable shoes and jacket – the tour requires a lot of walking. Pick-ups will take place 15min before departure time and guest will need to be ready at Pawia 18b – Kiss&Ride stop, in front of Mercure Hotel.

Auschwitz: Participants are required to provide an ID card, as this will be checked before the entrance. The name provided on the booking should be exactly the name on the ID provided. Please, wear comfortable shoes – the Tour requires a lot of walking. Also, take an umbrella or a raincoat with you in order to be prepared in case of rain (the majority of the tour will take place outside). Please bear in mind that there are hundreds of tourists visiting the Museum every day and keeping your own pace of sightseeing is not possible. The allowed dimensions of a bag you can take with you are 30x20x10 (A4 size). Do not bring anything bigger. You will get a headset to hear the guide clearly throughout the whole Auschwitz tour. Eating and smoking, as well as acting in a loud manner are forbidden at the site. Taking photos in the buildings with the use of flash is forbidden. You are allowed to take photos only in selected parts of the Museum.
