Warwick Castle is a great destination for a day out at any time of year – but at Christmas it becomes even more special with a host of festive events and attractions.
Christmas at the Castle officially kicks off on December 17th (running until January 1st), although many festive events will be taking place throughout December.
Visit Warwick Castle over the festive period and you’ll receive the warmest of winter welcomes complete with a roaring fire and 25ft Christmas tree in the vast Great Hall. The Castle is open every day except Christmas Day so no matter when you visit, you can look forward to these fabulous festive attractions:
Santa Storytime: Join Santa and his mischievous elves for a fun family storytelling show as they prepare for Christmas in the State Rooms.
Victorian Christmas in Secret and Scandals: Visit a high-society party taking place at the castle, and get a taste of life both upstairs and downstairs.
Great Hall and State Rooms: These magnificent rooms are elegantly decorated for a truly festive atmosphere, with roaring fires and festive decorations, including a 25ft Christmas tree.
The Winter Bird Show: Watch majestic birds of prey as they soar through the winter skies, demonstrating their power and prowess in this breathtaking Courtyard show.
The Duelling Gents: Observe a dazzling display of authentic Georgian Swordsmanship, performed by Warwick Castle’s finest swordsmen.
Shakespeare’s Secret Tour: A journey of discovery into the secrets of Britain’s most famous writer; could he really have been the owner of Warwick Castle?
Carols at the castle: Celebrate the 40th anniversary of this event every weekend throughout December in the Castle Chapel.
