The Burj Al Arab’s Ultimate Afternoon Tea
This is afternoon tea taken to a whole other level, with 7 sumptuous courses!
What you’ll eat:
The Ultimate Afternoon Tea consists of a 7-course set menu:
- Berries tart
- An assortment of delicate finger sandwiches
- Chef’s carvery
- “Smoking” Sorbet
- Warm, freshly-baked scones with Devonshire clotted cream and homemade preserves
- French pastries
What you’ll drink:
- A fine selection of teas and coffees
- Juices, soft drinks and water
- You can also choose to add a glass of champagne to the occasion!
What Time:
The Burj Al Arab Afternoon Tea is served between 1pm – 6pm
How Long:
Expect to spend around 1½ hours
An Indulgent Afternoon Tea is also available in the hotel’s Skyview Bar, which is located on the highest point of the hotel and has fabulous views over Dubai!
High Tea at the Burj Al Arab
When you think of a traditional English tea ceremony, this is what comes to mind . With 3 courses High Tea is more simple than the Ultimate Afternoon Tea, but every bit as delicious! It’s also served later in the day.

The Burj Al Arab’s High Tea consists of a 3 course set menu:
- A selection of delicate finger sandwiches
- Warm, freshly-baked scones with Devonshire clotted cream and homemade preserves
- A fine collection of French pastries and petit fours

- A fine selection of teas and coffees

Serving from 7pm
How Long:
High Tea lasts around 1 hour
Not a fan of afternoon tea? You can also have lunch at Burj Al Arab:
The Burj Al Arab also serves a lavish buffet lunch with traditional Arabic and International cuisine in the Al Iwan Restaurant – one of the top ten hotel restaurants in the world!
Served between 12pm – 3.30pm, lunch at the Burj Al Arab has a slightly more casual dress code than afternoon or high tea.
To complete the luxurious experience, transfers are even included with some advance tickets, to collect and return you to your hotel in comfort and safety.
