Hundreds of thousands of ceramic poppies were recently “planted” at the Tower of London to mark the 100 year anniversary of WW1 and honour those fallen in service.
All of the poppies have been bought by members of the public, raising vital money for UK service charities.
To commemorate this historic event we’ve put together some facts about the poppy installation, plus we’re offering you the chance to win your own poppy.

Have visited the poppy installation at the Tower of London four times. Big thank you to Paul Cummins, the artist, who has come up with this extraordinary work. Breathtaking. Took my sons, 9 years and 10 years old and they were very impressed. Asked me to go and see it again! This time we went to see the poppies at night, which was very impressive and enchanting! Loved it so much! My last visit to see the poppies was on the 11.11.2014. The ceremony was wonderful and I paid respect to all the fallen soldiers by two minutes silence. Lest we forget…
