Visit the Tower of London this Bank Holiday weekend and you and your family can become part of Anne Boleyn’s coronation celebrations!
Especially for the May Bank Holiday, the court of Anne Boleyn and Henry VIII in 1533 is being brought to life – and they’ll need YOUR help to prepare for the upcoming coronation.
Visitors will each be assigned a mission, which they must complete to make Anne’s coronation a celebratory success!
In this living Tudor world you can take part in Tudor cookery, craft and games in the Hands on History Zone, and become a knight, a court fool or an actor to impress the new queen.
Explore the exciting pop-up palace where you can discover the story of Anne’s coronation through a 360º film created by local young people and Aardman Animations (the guys behind Wallace and Grommit).
Once you’ve completed your mission, you’ll meet the royal couple in the moat for the coronation celebration rehearsal – just make sure you don’t lose your head!
