Conjure up fun-filled family holidays again with a trip to Blackpool Pleasure Beach! The UK’s best-loved themepark was first opened in Victorian times and has gone from strength to strength with a few new rides since then.
This may be because:
But don’t worry! There’s loads more to do, so check out our things to do in:
Now it has The Big One, the highest rollercoaster in the UK, the classic racing rollercoaster Grand National, plus the UK’s only Nickelodeon Land! With 12 rides inspired by the channel’s most popular cartoons like SpongeBob SquarePants, Avatar: The Last Airbender and Dora the Explorer, your little ones will be spoilt for choice.
Thrillseekers will love Valhalla, a dark water ride inspired by Viking life, or a unique rollercoaster where you control how much you spin, in the new Red Arrows Skyforce.
Also, if thrills are your thing, you’ll definitely want to try out ICON – UK’s only double-launch rollercoaster! It interacts with 17 attractions in the park and has top speeds of over 84km/h.
The whole family can enjoy a ride together on the Teacups, Carousel or the Wallace and Gromit Thrill-O-Matic, and teens can head to the Ghost Train for a scare.
With award-winning shows, adventure golf, Ripley’s Believe it or Not museum, great restaurants and even ice-skating* at the purpose-built arena, you can easily spend all day at Blackpool Pleasure Beach.
See our exclusive Adventure Package for one-ticket access to rides, Ripley’s and adventure golf!
Blackpool Pleasure Beach’s 42 acres have a ride for almost everyone! Highlights include:
Fancy taking a terrifying 360° spin—and then doing it again, but backwards? You’ll love Revolution, Europe’s first 360° rollercoaster. If you’re looking for height, take a trip up to the top of the tallest coaster in the UK—the Big One. And of course we can’t miss out the iconic wooden rollercoaster that signifies the Pleasure Beach, the Big Dipper.
Travel into the famous book with your favourite characters from Lewis Carrol’s classic Alice in Wonderland on the Alice ride! Why not take to the skies in our rocket-themed Flying Machines? Or take part in a horse race with a difference riding the unusual Derby Racer…
Fly high with Aang, riding the currents of the air on the Avatar Airbender ride! Or help SpongeBob blast the troublesome jellyfish from his home in Bikini Bottom. After you’ve done that, why not reward yourself with a little splash in the Rugrats Lost River?
