Be afraid, be very afraid! Hop aboard the Grave Digger Ghost bus and get ready for a fun and spooky adventure around Dublin and its darker history.
This Dublin Ghost Tour takes you through some of the weird and wonderful events that took place in times gone by, unearthing legends and ghosts from the city’s past along the way.
Starting from Dublin’s Trinity College, your guide will transport you back some 600 years to the early days of the Augustinian Priory and the plague house which once stood there.
You’ll learn of the major’s attempts to keep the plague at bay, as victims tried to sooth their wounds in the waters of the city’s drinking supplies.
Other places you’ll visit include St Audeon’s Church (also known as ‘Hell’), Kilmainham Jail and Bully’s acre.
Your final stop is the Gravediggers Pub in Prospect Square, where you’ll receive a complementary ‘Ghoulish brew’ and learn about the practice of grave robbing.
