Back in the Roaring Twenties, the Bloomsbury Set were a group of bright young artists and writers who lived in the fashionable part of London. Members included Virginia Woolf and E.M. Forster whose books are still famous today.
The Bloomsbury Hotel has taken this heritage to heart; their afternoon tea menu is inspired by recipes from the 1920s and 30s, modernised into delicious bites by their talented chef. You can try Hurry-up cake and decadent Cambridge burnt cream alongside such favourites as clotted cream scones with preserves, and finger sandwiches.
Served on the new Dalloway Terrace, here’s a chance to enjoy something a little different for an indulgent afternoon tea.
